  Niko Skorpio is a Finnish producer, composer and sound-artist. Skorpio’s music takes directions from dark ambient, experimental and industrial genres, combining them into dreamlike sonic landscapes. The resulting sound is described as Hermetic Fusion Musick, indicating cross-breeding of diverse ingredients to bring forth unexpected, evocative results.. His other current projects are Haeretici 7o74, Rajapinta, Reptiljan and Metaorganism. In the past he was involved in the groups A\H, Thergothon, This Empty Flow and Cold Once Turning Dust. He has collaborated with Black Sun Productions, Kouhei Matsunaga, andOceans (Havoc Unit), Ovro and others. Formed Some Place Else in 1997; independent record label and mailorder focusing in experimental, electronic, eccentric and esoteric music of many flavours.
